The Person Behind the Professional

Before anything else, I’m a person who loves connection. Good food, new places, friends, the great outdoors, and getting lost in a big ol’ book. LOTR, anyone?

I’m curious about many things, which is both useful and occasionally inconvenient. Most recently, the biomechanics of David Attenborough’s dulcet tones... oh, and cooking something new. Sometimes successfully. Sometimes… character building.

In the company of my friends and family, I’m usually found playing the fool (more successfully than the guitar or ukulele, might I add) and soaking up the precious time.

I care deeply about the work, but I don’t think we need to take ourselves too seriously to do it well. I think the best work happens when we feel safe enough to be playful, curious, brave, a bit messy, and properly human.
